60-second summary
Quick answer
Open the book detail page, upload the cover file, wait for the upload to finish, then verify the detail page, formatted preview and published page rather than trusting only one cached view.
Before you start
What you need
- Open the book detail page for the book that should receive the cover.
- Use JPEG/JPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP no larger than 10 MB; the interface recommends under 1 MB for the most reliable upload.
Procedure
Complete the task step by step
- 01
Prepare the cover file
Use JPEG/JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP no larger than 10 MB; a file under 1 MB is recommended for the most reliable upload.
Current app screen
Use Browse in the Upload Cover panel. The latest cover and the publishing actions remain visible on the same workspace. - 02
Open the book detail page
Find the correct project in Library and choose Upload Cover in its cover area.
- 03
Upload and wait
Choose Browse Files and wait for “Cover image uploaded successfully!” before leaving the detail page.
- 04
Verify the stored image
Confirm the new cover reloads on the book detail page, then inspect any formatted preview or public listing that uses it.
Success check
Confirm that it worked
- The app displays “Cover image uploaded successfully!”.
- The book detail page reloads the newly stored cover after processing.
Important notes
- The picker accepts image files and attempts to compress large uploads before sending them.
- Do not leave the page until the success message appears; a failed compressed upload can be retried once with the original file.
Troubleshooting
If it still does not work
The upload is rejected or repeatedly times out
Convert the image to JPEG, PNG, or WebP and reduce it below 10 MB—preferably below 1 MB—then choose Browse Files and upload again.
