Quick answer
Check the original item in Library before starting anything else. For a processing ebook, use Refresh to request the latest status. Use Retry generation only if that exact failed or stalled item exposes a Retry action.
Before you start
What you need
- Use the original Library card and keep its numeric book ID available.
- Check its current status before starting any replacement project.
Procedure
Complete the task step by step
- 01
Check the Library status
Processing means the background job may still be running. Use Refresh on the original row to request its latest state.
Current app screenOpen full size: Current Library row for a book that is still processingA processing row stays in Library and provides Refresh. Do not create a duplicate project while this original item is still active. - 02
Open the original item once
Confirm which chapters exist and whether that same Library item offers a Retry generation action.
- 03
Avoid duplicate submissions
Do not create the same project repeatedly while the first request is still active.
- 04
Retry only from the provided control
Use Retry generation once only when that exact failed or stalled item exposes it. A normal processing ebook may show Refresh instead.
- 05
Report the stalled item if needed
Open the project detail page and send support the book title, the book ID from its URL and the exact step that failed.
Success check
Confirm that it worked
- Refresh updates the original processing row, or an offered retry moves that same failed or stalled item back into generation.
- No duplicate project is created while the original job is still active.
Important notes
- A processing ebook row currently exposes Refresh so the latest server status can be requested.
- Retry generation is conditional and appears only for a failed or stalled supported item whose server response exposes that action.
Troubleshooting
If it still does not work
The project remains unchanged after Refresh and Retry generation is unavailable
Do not create a duplicate. Contact support with the numeric book ID and current status so the existing job can be inspected.
