60-second summary
Quick answer
Check the project in Library first. Open it once, use the retry control only if the project offers one, and do not submit a duplicate generation while the original is still processing.
Before you start
What you need
- Sign in to the Automateed account that owns the relevant project or purchase.
- Have the project, source file or account setting needed for “Check the Library status” ready before changing anything.
Procedure
Complete the task step by step
- 01
Check the Library status
A progress state means background generation may still be running.
Current app screen
Project status belongs to the existing Library item. Keep its ID when reporting a stalled generation. - 02
Open the detail page once
Confirm which chapters exist and whether the project shows a retry action.
- 03
Avoid duplicate submissions
Do not create the same project repeatedly while the first request is still active.
- 04
Retry only from the provided control
Use the project retry action so existing content and credit handling remain connected.
- 05
Report the project ID if needed
Send support the numeric book ID and the exact step that failed.
Success check
Confirm that it worked
- The expected result from “Report the project ID if needed” is visible in the relevant Automateed screen or exported file.
- Refresh the page once and confirm the saved state remains unchanged.
Important notes
- Do not share passwords or API keys in a support report.
- A temporary progress pause does not always mean the project failed.
Troubleshooting
If it still does not work
Progress has not moved for several minutes
Open the project once and check whether chapters are still appearing. If the status and chapter count are both unchanged, use the project retry control once; do not create a duplicate book.
A retry would charge the project again
Stop before submitting and contact support with the numeric project ID. Support can inspect the existing job and credit history without asking you to regenerate blindly.
