60-second summary
Quick answer
Finish and save the imported project, add a cover, open its publishing action, set product details and price, then submit it through the same content review used by generated books.
Before you start
What you need
- Sign in to the Automateed account that owns the relevant project or purchase.
- Have the project, source file or account setting needed for “Complete the editor review” ready before changing anything.
Procedure
Complete the task step by step
- 01
Complete the editor review
Check title, author, chapters, cover and downloadable output.
Current app screen
Published imported books begin as saved Book Editor projects, not as a second upload. - 02
Save the imported project
Wait for save confirmation before leaving the editor.
- 03
Open publishing
Use the available publish action to create or connect the public product record.
Current app screen
After the imported project is saved, its publishing dialog uses the same product details, pricing and review workflow as generated books. - 04
Set price and delivery
Choose free or paid access and confirm the payout route where required.
- 05
Submit for content review
Publishing remains subject to platform and payment-content rules.
Success check
Confirm that it worked
- The expected result from “Submit for content review” is visible in the relevant Automateed screen or exported file.
- Refresh the page once and confirm the saved state remains unchanged.
Important notes
- Available controls can differ by book type, plan and current project status.
- Review generated content, facts, usage rights and final files before publishing or selling.
Troubleshooting
If it still does not work
The publish screen says the imported book has no cover
Open the Book Editor project and save or upload its cover there first. Imported projects and generated ebook records can store cover references through different steps.
